One purchase, three goals
Primes with a small business subcontracting plan report their spend by category. A purchase from a business that holds several statuses counts in full in each of them.
Hubzone Depot holds three: small business, HUBZone and women-owned. So the supplies your teams already buy move three goals at once, without a new program to manage.

Under the current subcontracting clause, HUBZone and WOSB credit needs SBA certification, and we hold both. How each purchase is credited follows your contract and plan; check our status at any time in the SBA’s small business search.
The scarce goals
HUBZone and WOSB dollars are the hardest to find
In fiscal 2025 the federal government beat its small business goal and missed both its HUBZone and its women-owned goals. Every prime with a plan is looking for the same small group of certified firms.
Few of them can supply what large sites buy every month. We can: MRO, safety, janitorial, facility, office and IT supplies, through your procurement system, from one certified supplier.

Frequently asked questions
Does spend with Hubzone Depot count toward our subcontracting goals?
Yes, under the terms of your contract and plan. We are a small business in SAM and SBA-certified in the HUBZone and Women-Owned Small Business programs, so one purchase can count toward each of those three goals.
How do we verify your status?
Look us up in the SBA’s small business search or in SAM.gov with our UEI, RJCYBJQL43D9. We are glad to send current certificates for your supplier records.
Do you file anything in SAM.gov for us?
No. The prime contractor files its individual and summary subcontract reports. We send a statement of your spend with us by contract and period, so the figures are easy to support.
Can our teams keep buying the brands they use now?
Usually, yes. The marketplace carries 12 million products and works inside your procurement system, and Spotbuy sources anything outside it, with a quote before anything is bought.
Will you team with us on a bid?
Yes. If a bid calls for a HUBZone or women-owned small business partner for supplies, talk to us early so we can price it with you.
What is a small business subcontracting plan?
It is the plan a large business agrees with the government on most federal contracts above a set dollar value, with goals for each small business category and regular reports. Our guide to small business subcontracting plans for 2026 and 2027 covers the requirements, goals and SAM.gov reporting.
